Here is a question from one of my Apprenticeship 1B weekly assignments last week. I am confused because I can't find any requirements under 210.11 for restaurant bathrooms. I thought based off of 210.11(C)(3) the. correct answer would be 1, but the correct answer is none are required. Where can I find this listed in the code? I do understand that section (C) in this is for dwelling units but I can't find the non dwelling requirements. Please help me.
At least ___ bathroom branch circuits must be installed in a restaurant. The circuits must supply power to the bathroom receptacles. The restaurant has two bathrooms for the public and one for the employees.
Select one: a. 3 b. 1 c. 4 d. 2 e. none are required
Cant help you with that......nothing in the NEC requires this for non-dwellings.
Sounds like a local state rule and I only do the NEC.
The answer makes a lot of sense now since there are no requirements haha. It is just a trick question I was overthinking. Appreciate it Paul
No trick really...they are just testing your skills to know the difference.
